Welcoming Noel Sons
Noel Sons has joined Hourglass Medical as President, Military Applications after serving 23 years as a US Navy SEAL. Noel entered Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL training, graduating with Class 249/252. He was trained as a Special Operations Combat Medic, Advanced Special Operation Human Intelligence Collector, Naval Special Warfare Communicator, and a Naval Special Warfare Joint Terminal Attack Controller. Noel has twelve combat deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Yemen along with missions to Lebanon, Bosnia, Jordan, and Ukraine. Noel is recognized as a subject matter expert in the field of Special Operation Medicine. His last responsibility before retiring from the Navy was establishing the Tactical Medical Training Cell, an innovative approach to integration and advancement of Special Operation Medic training across NSW Enterprise. Noel has been published in multiple professional journals, presented at numerous scientific conferences, and case studies of his actions are used as instructional material and holds civilian medical credentialing as a National Registry Paramedic, Critical Care Paramedic, Flight Paramedic, and Diploma in International Mountain Medicine. Noel served as the Naval Special Warfare representative on the Special Operations Command Surgeons Office Curriculum Evaluation Board, the credentialing body for all Special Operations Combat Medics. Noel is also an accomplished inventor, holding multiple patents for successful medical products. Noel’s reputation, experience, and inventiveness are perfectly suited for him to lead Hourglass Medical in delivering functional lifesaving solutions for warfighters.
